Vegas's Big Boys Begin New Projects

This year the three biggest casino operators in Las Vegas are beginning their mixed use Las Vegas real estate projects. The MGM Mirage has already begun construction on its Project CityCenter, which will be located between two of its Las Vegas properties, the Monte Carlo and the Bellagio.

Boyd Gaming Corps is set to begin on their Echelon Place which will be located on their Stardust site. Also Harrah's Entertainment will be announcing its Las Vegas real estate property soon. Many Las Vegas developers are saying that Harrah's is planning to redevelop its prized center Strip turf.

Looking at the statistics these three Las Vegas projects could end up costing more than the combined construction costs of all the resorts now open on the Las Vegas strip.
