According to a report released by the FBI overall crime in Las Vegas has dropped by 14% for the period of 2002-2004. Horrendous crimes such as rape, murder, robberies and aggrivated assaults were all down 31%. Las Vegas property crimes were also reported to be down by more than 10%.
The Las Vegas City Manager and Police Department say that crimes are down because of the new approach with which they have been undergoing to attack crime. The Las Vegas Police Department has teamed up and formed a partnership with local Las Vegas communities. This team effort has resulted in lower crime and an improved quality of life for those living in Vegas and also sends a clear message for those looking to purchase Las Vegas real estate.
