Las Vegas Homes BlogLas Vegas real estate blog with market conditions, news and availability of Las Vegas homes and condos as presented by RE/MAX Associates. Tuesday, July 19, 2005Background Check Bill Passed By Legislature And Signed By The Govenor
New legislation is set to be passed that will allow all Las Vegas real estate licensees to obtain a faster and more thorough background check. For the past several months this has been the topic of many discussions and many are excited about the background checks being done more quickly and for the investigation to go back into the applicants history and not just from the time the applicant applies for his/her Las Vegas real estate license.
Senate Bill 332 was finally passed by the legislature and then signed by the Govenor. The bill has been backed and praised by the Real Estate Division and by NVAR. |
